We are taught as a society that we are destined for greatness. It's plastered all over social media, celebrities say it, politicians say it and even business people say it. But if we're all extraordinary, then no one is extraordinary. Being average does not mean you're a failure. Average is just a state of mind. Average is not about an obsession with one’s self but about going beyond one’s self. The opposite of average is to be all about one’s self. So be average and make your life about more than just you and what you’ve done. Curious and hungry are two words that aptly describe me as justified by my peers and professors. That is probably one of the reasons why I work as a journalist. With my camera being my best friend, I specialise in short-form documentaries and photo stories. I hold a Bachelor of Communication's degree from the University of Newcastle, Australia majoring in Journalism and Public Relations, and I spend a fair amount of my free time working on commercial advertisements and films.
